Adam is a BAFTA winning and Emmy nominated filmmaker based in the UK.
Fascinated by the human condition, he seeks out stories which have compelling characters and important issues at their core, combining his background in the camera department to create sensitive, visually stunning films.
His breakthrough feature documentary ‘Into the Storm: En La Tormenta’ was screened on BBC Storyville - the channel’s flagship documentary strand.
In 2022 Adam won the ‘Emerging Talent: Factual’ BAFTA for ‘Into the Storm’, which also won a hat trick of awards at the 2020 Brooklyn Film Festival. The series ‘Earthstorm’ he co-directed for Netflix was nominated for Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary at the 2023 Emmys.
A creative at heart, Adam trained and worked in design, before going onto cut his teeth in the industry as a DP, later focussing on producing and directing. He is equally at home self-shooting an intimate verité film, as he is collaborating with a big team to realise his vision.
Adam cares deeply about the key issues of our time; he has recently worked on premium documentary series for major streaming platforms about subjects which include hurricanes/climate change and the impact of the ultra wealthy on society.
Adam is a member of BAFTA Connect, a national talent development scheme. When he is not making films Adam enjoys surfing, riding bikes and taking photographs.
